The disaster is only getting worse in the urbano-rural commune of Lubunga after the fighting between the Mbole and Lengola communities.

More than 10 children died in the sites where the victims of this tragedy are housed, which caused several deaths in the commune of Lubunga. According to several sources, these kids died of measles.

The Mayor of the said commune Baudouin Kayongo Balaya launches a cry of alarm to partners and men of good will to save the lives of this population who lives without shelter, and in very deplorable conditions.

It should be noted that the clashes between Mbole and Lengola caused several deaths in the commune of Lubunga and many displaced people to the right bank of the Congo River.
