Mahagi civil society strongly condemns the mob justice practiced by the population of the Mahagi territory lately

The coordinating body of civil society in Mahagi territory has expressed its disappointment at the various cases of mob justice committed by people in different parts of Mahagi territory.

Maitre Akua, spokesman for civil society, deplored the recent lynching of a certain Uroci in the Anghal chiefdom in the Urii groupement in the center of Nyarambe, and the lynching of Mr. Upar in the Panduru chiefdom, who was caught stealing from a store in the AKARA groupement in Mahagi territory.

The spokesman for civil society in the Mahagi territory asks the population of the Mahagi territory not to take justice into their own hands, but to let justice do its job in such cases.
