At least 2,119,100 candidates, including 1,020,448 girls, are expected throughout the DRC to take the National Primary School Leaving Examination (ENAFEP). They will be spread across 8,232 test-taking centers and 2 off-border centers, in Luanda and Kabinda in Angola, according to the Ministry of Primary, Secondary and Technical Education (EPST).
EPST Minister Tony Mwaba Kazadi is launching the exams from the town of Kisangani in Tshopo province.
In a press release issued on May 30, the Ministry of EPST postponed the ENAFEP to Monday June 12 and Tuesday June 13 in the educational provinces of Sankuru 1, headquartered in Lodja, Sankuru 2 in Lusambo, Tshuapa 1 and 2, headquartered in Boende and Bokungu respectively, Haut- Uélé 1 and 2 in Isiro and Watsa, and Bas- Uélé in Buta.
The reason for the postponement of this examination is the late arrival of the item trunks at the various scheduled drop-off points.
The EPST states that these trunks were stored with the transporter at the appropriate time.
ENAFEP takes place from June 1 to 2, in accordance with the 2022-2023 School Calendar.
