Youth beneficiaries of presidential initiative on skilling from Pakwach advised to work hard

Selection of 30 Youths in the various sub-counties of Pakwach District took place on 3rd of March 2023 to join the rest of youth in West Nile Region in Zeu (Zombo District) for the Presidential Youth Skilling initiative.
The five-month program is aimed at skilling youth in disciplines such as welding, tailoring, hairdressing, carpentry and bakery.

The Director of the Presidential Initiative on Skilling the Girl/Boy Child (PISGBC) Project, Dr Faith Katana Mirembe has advised the youth who are on the trainings to work hard to transform their lives.
The Director made the remarks to the trainees at Luzira Skilling Centre showcased their skills acquired during their six months of training.

In Pakwach district, Patrick Warom the Chairperson LC III Pakwach Town Council thanked some of the parents for embracing this presidential initiative stating that it will add them value in life as they strive to make their own money and encouraged parents to support their children who are selected with transport dues.

Justine Omirambe Chairperson LC III Panyimur Sub-County in Pakwach district applauded the government of Uganda for fulfilling their manifesto in skilling the youth, Justine also advised the learners from Pakwach to exercise discipline and focus while they receive the training.
