More than 100 armed groups are competing for resources in Eastern Congo’s conflict (Report)

A UN reports from eastern Congo, where a three-decade-long conflict has killed thousands, and forced more than five million people from their homes – with no end in sight indicates that there are hundreds of militia groups competing for resources.

It’s upon these decades of conflict that humanitarian aids to the volatile DRC regions are needed.
